JKC - Mangarh has gained immense popularity since its inception in 2003 and patients from a number of surrounding villages are benefiting from the same. The hospital is continuously under expansion and an extension to its main hospital building was inaugurated on July 26, 2009 that has a major area allocated for a fully equipped Ophthalmic Department that consists of 2 Major Eye OT and a 25 Bedded Male & Female General Ward only for eye patients on the first floor and 4 Eye OPDs; Eye Examination Room; and a Minor OT on the ground floor.
Apart from the ophthalmic department, the Extension to the Hospital building also has Physiotherapy and an Acupressure unit shifted to its ground floor.
Under Construction at the moment is a new block for its Investigation Department. The ground floor would have its Fully Equipped Pathology Laboratory, Radiology and Imaging Unit shifted there from the main hospital building which at present has small rooms allocated for the same. The First Floor would consist of another general ward for Ophthalmic Patients separate for Male & Female.
JKC – Mangarh is further planning to expand its Naturopathy Department and construct a separate Ayurvedic Wing. Also under planning stage is the construction of a Medical College near the hospital campus area in the near future.
JKC – Mangarh is also looking at automating its procedures further by taking up computerization measures at all levels and backing it with strong hospital management application software.
