Health Awareness

Blood-Donation-CampJKC - Mangarh frequently conducts various types of Health Awareness programs in and around the hospital catchment area. From time to time every year, JKC - Mangarh doctors participate in the NSS Camp of Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya and hold an Awareness Programme in a small villages and schools in and around Kunda, in district Pratapgarh whereby lectures on topics such as proper hygiene, no smoking, preventing abortion and consequences of alcohol consumption and many social medical topics are delivered to the villagers and students.

On 28th September 2008, JKC - Mangarh participated with the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and held an awareness programme outside the Hospital Premises with the message - “Stop Female Feticide and Educate Adolescent Girl” which was part of their FOGSI-Astra Bharat Jagruti Yatra-2008 (Kanyakumari to Delhi). The Yatra Coordinator, Dr. Shirin Venkat (Pune) conducted the awareness program with other FOGSI participants present.
